This post is an overview of the quite highly hyped Wet n Wild Comfort Zone palette...
Ok, so this was a little hard for me to get hold of. In the end, I bought it from an ebay seller for around £10. I've heard so much about it from so many beauty bloggers and YouTubers.
From pictures that I had seen, it looked like quite an all rounder of a palette. I have found that the shade compliment each other. I wouldn't describe this palette as a 'neutral' one because of the green and redish shades. I do think that if you used some of these with other earthy shades they would be a good accompaniment.
There was a stand out colour for me that pushed me into tracking this palette down and that was the first of the two eyelid colours. From swatches it looked like an amazing taupe shade and now seeing it in person it is lovely and leans a little silver.
I would say that the pigmentation is OK and the texture of the shadows is generally good with an exception of the second crease and the first definer. They feel quite bitty due to the flecks of shimmer in them. They aren't soft and were quite hard to swatch. And for you matte lovers out there... Sorry but there's none here :/
Like I said, I mainly bought this palette for one shade in particular and that was no let down. Spending around £10 for this palette and then falling in love with one shade would be just like me spending that amount on a MAC eyeshadow :)
