MAC eye shadow: Texture

Hey ladies :)
So, continuing on from my first MAC pallete, Texture is the first of my second palette which I often refer to as my browns/bronzes palette...

So MAC describes Texture as 'peachy-brown with shimmer'. No arguments there. It can show up like a camel colour on me which isn't a bad thing. This shade works really well with my blue eyes and helps them to pop.

This shadow is a Velvet finish which results in it being soft to touch. However, with some Velvet finishes, they often look a certain way in the pan and then appear quite a lot sheerer when swatched (swatch pictured above is quite heavy and I returned to the pan at least twice for the quality in the picture.)

As far as what I find this shadow works for, I love it worn in the crease. To be even more specific I love Texture in the crease with Soba on the lid (don't worry Soba will be coming soon!)

I think this shade would look amazing on darker skin tones and find it works excellently for us paler ladies to deepen the crease giving a more tanned finish. For those who worry about shimmer, take a look at the swatch, thats as glittery as it gets ;)

Thank you for reading :)
