MAC eye shadow: Goldmine

Hello there :)
Today's post is all about the MAC eye shadow Goldmine...

Beautiful no? MAC describes this eye shadow as 'intense gold with shimmer'... Sometimes I feel they could be a little more imaginative with describing ;) I agree.

The shimmer isn't too over powering, it is more frosty.. I guess that's why it's a Frost finish eh? I really enjoy the Frost finishes from MAC, some of my favourite eye shadows belong to this group.

This shade can be a bit much, it is very bright but if used right it can look amazing. I suppose using a small amount in the right places with the right accompanying colours helps. I feel that this would look beautiful on darker skin tones/tanned skin.

Golds help blue eyes to pop which is why I picked this shade up, it is a pure gold with nothing else. I'd say definitely swatch it and see what you think, it really is a pretty colour.
